Identifying Psychosocial Risks at Work: A Questionnaire Designed to Help You!

Amélio offers a survey designed to support your efforts in identifying psychosocial risks in the workplace.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

In accordance with the obligations outlined in Law 27 and the CNESST regarding the identification of psychosocial risks in the workplace, Amélio provides a specialized survey to support your comprehensive approach.

This survey is a key first step in the risk identification and analysis process, which involves consulting employees. It will serve as the foundation for an effective action plan to protect health and well-being at work.

Objectives of the Questionnaire

The survey aims to explore various themes related to psychosocial risks, as defined by the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ).

To ensure a common understanding of the topics covered, each section of the questionnaire is accompanied by a brief introduction, serving as a definition of the theme and guiding employees to provide informed and precise responses.

Analysis and Interpretation

Each psychosocial factor is examined through a global question, allowing for a focus on two key aspects:

  • Protective Factors: When responses to the question are positive, this helps identify elements that contribute to a supportive and healthy psychological work climate.

  • Risk Factors: When responses to the question are negative, this indicates a risk factor and helps identify elements that harm well-being and impact employees' psychological health.

Based on employees' responses, follow-up questions with multiple-choice options will allow them to further specify their perceptions.

The answer choices for these in-depth questions are based on the underlying elements of each psychosocial risk theme and are enhanced to cover a broad range of factors.

In Summary

For each psychosocial factor, the survey enables employees to:

Respond to a global question that determines the level of psychological health risk at work.
Refine their responses by identifying protective factors or risk factors experienced in their work environment.

Your survey results will provide valuable insights into:

🔹 Your most pressing psychosocial risk factors.
🔹 The elements of your work climate that act as risk or protective factors.
🔹 The specific reasons behind these perceptions, offering a solid foundation for developing preventive or corrective actions.

What's next?

Using your survey results, establish targeted actions for each measured psychosocial factor. These actions may focus on enhancing or maintaining protective factors if your results are positive.

Use the responses to the follow-up questions within each theme to quickly improve the most critical areas in your workplace.
