First step: Create a cycle in the Performance Module

Simplify your initiatives and support managers with reusable cycles. These cycles program the addition of initatives in the dashboard.

Creating a cycle allows you to prepare a reusable framework that managers can use to launch development initiatives more easily.

Cycles are mainly designed to simplify the launch process while maintaining consistency across the organization.

A cycle can notably help define:

  • the audience

  • the type of initiative

  • the template being used

  • reminders

  • sending parameters

  • certain configuration rules

📌 Once activated, the cycle will generate initiatives that can be launched from the dashboards. Managers will also have access to these initiatives.

Steps to create a cycle

1. Access cycles

From the left-hand menu:

  • Open the Performance Management section

  • Select Cycles

2. Create a new cycle

Select Create a new cycle.

➡️ You will then be able to choose between:

  • a 360 feedback initiative

  • or a self-assessment

Not sure which approach best fits your reality? Follow our guide on choosing between 360 feedback and self-assessments here. 👌

3. Define the audience

Choose which employees will be included in the cycle.

The cycle can be:

  • available to the entire organization

  • limited to specific groups

  • based on attributes from the Employee profile

4. Configure suggested participants (360 feedback)

⚠️ This step only applies to 360 feedback initiatives.

You will be able to:

  • define the number of suggested participants

  • establish selection priorities

  • configure the criteria used by the platform

Suggestions can notably be based on:

  • job title

  • department

  • manager

  • various organizational attributes

How does participant selection work?

The platform first attempts to suggest participants who match the Priority 1 criteria.

If not enough people are available, it will then move to the following priority levels.

Tip 💫
Criteria can be rearranged to better reflect your organizational reality.

To do this, simply drag and drop attributes between priority levels to customize the selection order for your organization.

5. Choose a template

Select an existing template or create a new one.

Templates can then be adjusted to better fit the needs of your initiative.

6. Adjust the questionnaire

Before activating the cycle, you can:

  • add questions

  • modify certain wording

  • disable questions

  • change the order

  • make certain questions mandatory

  • add translations

We recommend previewing the questionnaire before launching it.

A quick review before launch often helps avoid adjustments once the initiative is already underway.

7. Configure sending parameters

Define:

  • the response period

  • automatic reminders

  • cycle frequency

  • the invitation message

  • result visibility settings

8. Activate the cycle

Everything is ready; all that’s left is to launch it! 🚀

Once the configuration is complete, activate the cycle to make it available within the platform.

Managers will then be able to use the initiatives associated with the cycle and benefit from a clear framework that helps simplify the launch process.
