Edit questionnaire questions in the Performance module

Adapt your questionnaires to your organization’s reality to create a more engaging, human, and consistent evaluation experience for your teams.

Every organization has its own culture, communication style, and development priorities.

That’s why Amélio’s Performance module allows you to easily customize questionnaires so they truly reflect your day-to-day reality. ✨

Whether you want to:

  • Reuse a questionnaire already used internally

  • Adapt the wording to match your organizational culture

  • Enhance an existing Amélio template

  • Or build a completely custom evaluation process

The platform gives you the flexibility to create evaluations that feel more human, engaging, and aligned with your practices.

Steps to access the questionnaire

  1. Go to the Performance Management module

  2. Open the Evaluation Cycles section

  3. Create a new cycle or open an existing one

  4. Navigate to the Build your questionnaire step

From this section, you can manage and customize all the questions in your evaluation.

Add a new question

To add a question:

  1. Click Add a new question

  2. Enter the question content

  3. Select the desired question type

  4. Click Add

As with our other modules, several question types are available:

  • Text

  • Multiple choice

  • Rating scale

  • Checkbox

  • And more

💡 Tip: The Section Title question type helps structure the questionnaire and creates a smoother experience for participants.

Edit an existing question

To edit a question:

  1. Click the ⋮ menu on the right side of the question

  2. Select Edit

  3. Make the necessary changes

  4. Save your updates

You can:

  • Edit the question wording

  • Make a question required or optional

  • Allow comments

  • Adjust certain response settings

⚠️ Once a question has been created, its question type cannot be changed. If needed, a new question will need to be created.

Disable a question

Is a question no longer relevant for your current process? You can simply disable it without deleting it permanently.

  1. Click the ⋮ menu

  2. Select Disable

The question will no longer appear in the active questionnaire, but it can be reactivated later if needed.

Delete a question

To completely remove a question:

  1. Click the ⋮ menu

  2. Select Delete

Deleting a question permanently removes it from the questionnaire.
