It is important to pay particular attention to your employee's participation rates in surveys since they can change over time due to several influencing factors.

Here are some examples of questions to ask yourself in order to encourage a high participation rate that will last over time :

  1. Communication : Have your employees been notified of this initiative and have you made them aware of its importance?

  2. Survey focus : Is this a topic that is important to your employees?

  3. Action Plans : Have you undertaken any concrete action plans as a result of the previous surveys? Have you communicated them to your employees? Have you asked for their feedback on the action plans you have put in place?

In order to allow you to follow up closely at all times, there are several ways to view the participation rate of your employees from the platform.

This way, you will be better able to understand the level of involvement of your employees in your various surveys.

Average Participation Rate

If you have conducted multiple surveys, it is possible to view the participation rate for each of them to track the level of engagement with the surveys for each initiative or theme.

How do I view it?

You can view the participation rate from the Surveys tab in the left-hand menu. The response rate displayed on this page is the average rate for all occurrences for that survey.

Participation rate by occurrence

It is possible to view the participation rate for each survey occurrence, i.e. if the same survey has been launched several times, for example in the context of continuous improvement surveys.

This will allow you to see more accurately if your employees' commitment to completing surveys is changing over time.

At the same time, you will be able to better understand the impact of your survey strategies at a given time.

How do I view it?

To view the participation rate by survey occurrence, you can follow these 3 simple steps :

  1. From the Surveys page click on the green arrow on the right of the survey.

  2. Click on View sent surveys.

  3. A window will open where you will be able to view the response rate for each occurrence.

Individual participation rate

It is possible to view the participation rate for each employee. This is the only employee-related data that is not confidential and is generally only available to company administrators.

This information can be useful in certain situations, for example, if you want to draw a prize among employees with a response rate of 75% or more in the last 6 months.

When you opt for such an approach, it is recommended to reiterate that their answers and comments are always confidential.

How do I view it?

To view the individual participation rate, you can go to the tab Usage report from Admin in the left hand menu.

The column Response rate will show you the percentage of surveys completed by employees over a given period selected.
