Email to send the survey

A step-by-step guide on how to create and customize the ''survey sending'' email, as well as how to track responses and view survey results.

📨 One-time survey email

For one-time surveys, we encourage you to personalize the survey email to remind employees of your vision and the importance of responding.

The text of the email when the survey is sent can be modified according to your needs. The default email, for the one-time diagnosis, is displayed below. The section preceded by a red rectangle represents the editable text of the email.

✏️ Editing emails

To edit the emails, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Surveys tab and then click on the section of your choice.

  2. Click on the title of the survey.

  3. Go to the Customization tab, then to the Email Communication section.

1. Email title and message

The title of the email as well as the text can be edited in the content area.
You will also be able to adjust the format to highlight certain portions of the text that are important to you.

2. Language of emails

The email is sent in the employee's preferred language, based on what you have indicated in your employee list. You can therefore have a message in English and a message in French.

To edit the message in another language, click on the language selector, select the other language and edit the text.

3. Test the email

You will be able to confirm that the content and format are appropriate for you by testing the email.

Note: that this test only allows you to review the message. This is not a test of the survey; the survey link will not be functional.

4. Reminder emails

It is also possible to customize the reminder email that employees will receive after the survey is sent.


In the same way as for the survey email, you can customize the reminder email in both languages (FR and EN) and test the email.

The email will be the same for all the reminders that will be done. However, you will be able to come back and edit the reminder email after the survey has started or between reminders if necessary.

Save changes

Attention! Do not forget to save your changes, by clicking the button Update in the bottom right corner when you have finished editing the text.

Non-customized survey email

Customization of the survey email is optional.


In the absence of a customized email, employees will automatically receive a question from their survey as an email.
