This option has no effect on the survey or the interpretation of responses. This option is related to items that are not controllable by the manager and should not be indicated as areas for improvement in the platform.
For example, questions related to salary are generally not an element that can be controlled or adjusted by the manager.
Therefore, it will be possible to check the option to not have it displayed as an area for improvement for their team in their automated report.
This applies in the setting where the manager has access to the automated engagement report. If you do not plan for managers to have access to their own engagement report from the platform, there is no need to look at this option.
In any case, it's just a matter of displaying the results on the manager's report.
The function exclusively ensures that a user with permission to view the results for their team only (i.e. the manager role) will not see this question in the top and bottom rated questions listed in the overview page.
As an administrator or HR employee, this functionality has no impact on the results you observe, so you can maintain full visibility of the elements of engagement that are strong and the ones that need improvement.
This feature applies retrospectively. You can therefore select this option regardless of when the survey was sent and it will be automatically applied to the results.
