How is your team defined in Amélio?
Updated over a week ago

Your team is defined according to your preferences in your team definition. This definition will be used to inform you when news comes up in your team and you can choose the news that matters to you.

Team preferences are used to send notifications in different modules of Amélio including :

  1. Employee's birthday announcements;

  2. Service anniversary announcements;

  3. Sharing of recognitions via email and on the dashboard.

For example, birthday announcements are sent to employees whose birthday is on their team. If you activate the function 'Users in your department' you will receive a notification when it is the birthday of a colleague in your department

If, on the other hand, you don't want to receive notifications about your colleagues in the same location as you (if the company has more than one office) then you can disable this feature. You would then receive notifications for colleagues in the same department as you, regardless of their location, but would not receive notifications for people in the same.

Change your preferences

Each person can therefore define their own preferences. You can customize them by following these steps:

  1. Click on its name at the top right of the menu bar;

  2. Click on Account settings, then on Teams preferences;

  3. Modify your preferences then click on Update to save your modifications;

NB: This function is only possible if the employee has access to the platform connection.

Default settings for the organization

The organization can set the default settings for the entire company. This means that each new employee will have the same default settings when they are created. However, they can change their settings at any time. Contact [email protected] so that we can help you establish your default settings.
