Launching onboarding surveys

Onboarding surveys can be sent automatically to employees who join your organization.

Create an onboarding survey

First create your integration survey in the platform and activate it. You can use and customize an existing template or create one from scratch.


Several surveys can be active. You could have a first survey based on the welcome of your new employees, a second one on the training course, and a last one on the first 6 months within the company.


Surveys can also be targeted to specific groups and include different questions for your new managers, for example.

Schedule the sending time

The survey settings will allow you to define when you want the platform to send the survey.


The survey trigger is based on the employee's hire date that was provided in the employee list or that you provided when adding the employee directly into the platform. If you did not provide a hire date, the employee's activation date in the platform will be considered the time of arrival.


You can also schedule automated reminders to encourage new employees to participate in the survey.

Send an onboarding survey

When you create an employee in the platform, you will receive a message asking you when this new employee becomes active and if you want to send them the onboarding survey.


Once this new employee has met the criteria for one of the onboarding surveys you have created, the platform will automatically send them an email.

Send the survey to an employee already in Amélio

If the onboarding and induction surveys were prepared after the launch of the platform, you may want to send them to your recent employees.


To do this, you will need to allow onboarding surveys to be sent by editing the employee's profile. This will allow you to change the employee's status to enable permission to receive onboarding surveys.

Based on the hire date entered in the profile or the date of addition to the platform, this employee will receive the active onboarding survey when the trigger is reached (e.g. 3 months after hire).


If this deadline is exceeded (e.g.: hiring more than 4 months ago), it will not be possible to send it, since it will not correspond to the criteria for sending the survey.

View the results

You will have access to the results once more than 3 employees have completed the onboarding survey.


Results are accessible from the Onboarding Survey tab by clicking on ''View report''. Only administrators and HR staff can access the onboarding survey results.
