This article describes the authorizations of an employee in the platform when the connection has been granted

Updated over a week ago

As part of our continuous survey plan, we encourage you to use the different modules in order to make the most of the Amélio platform.

When using the innovation and recognition module, you must grant your employees a connection to the platform.

Here are the different elements that your employees will have access to when they log in.

Dashboard and modules

The employee will have access to the dashboard, where they will find a combination of the feedback and suggestions modules, and so on.

Each of these modules also has its own tab to facilitate their use and to find the options and information relevant to each one.

This way, employees can spontaneously participate in recognizing colleagues or suggest ideas at any time, when inspiration strikes.

Colleagues tab

The colleagues tab is available to any employee with access to the platform. It can be used as a directory of employees and therefore be useful when using the different modules(if they have been activated).

Modification of their profile

Employees can always modify basic information on their own profile such as their profile picture, name, date of birth as well as their hiring date.

The goal is to allow employees to correct basic information that may have been entered wrongly without the need to involve HR employees or account admins.

It also allows them to add a profile picture should they wish to customize their account.

Protection of Personal Information

By default, employees have limited access to personal information listed in their colleagues' profiles.

If you wish to further protect certain information, you can do so by following the steps below:

  1. Click on "Administration" from the left menu, then select "Company details".

  2. Navigate to the attribute tab you want to hide and check the option "Do not include in feedback and suggestion modules". This will hide this information on employees' profiles as well.

If you want to hide the date of birth and hire, follow the same steps, but instead, check the option "Do not display the birth/hiring date on the employee profiles".

By default, email addresses and employee numbers are hidden for all employees who do not have access rights to modify employee profiles in order to keep this information confidential.
