If the organization wishes to announce colleagues' birthdays, but some employees prefer that their birthdates remain private, they can disable this announcement to their colleagues.
The employee can change this preference in their profile directly on the platform in a few quick steps.
Click on the icon in the upper right corner of the platform, then on ''Account Settings''.
Click on ''Teams preferences''.
Enable the ''Do not announce my birthday'' feature.
After this change, colleagues and the manager will not receive notifications for this employee's birthday.
This change must be made by the employees themselves. Administrators cannot edit individual employee preferences.
