Personalizing the CoLab Module
Updated over 2 months ago

To ensure that employees are involved in the module and that it achieves its objectives, bringing it to life is essential!

Here are our best personalization practices 👌

Challenges

The first step is to create challenges for employees to answer, either at the end of the survey or within the platform.

  1. Go to the CoLab tab, then to the Challenges submenu

  2. Click on the +New Challenge button

A section will appear to allow you to create a customized challenge.

You can also select a predefined topic from our bank of templates.

Setting up the Challenge

Once the subject is created, you will need to configure the challenge parameters:

  • Clarify the Context: Provide all the details about the challenge you are facing: why it is a challenge, its impact on the team or organization, any limitations to consider (timeline, budget, people to involve, etc.), whether employees can volunteer to participate.

  • Participant Selection: Decide whether the entire organization, only employees under your supervision, or a specific group will be invited to participate.

    • Specific groups can be defined based on the demographic attributes of your organization (e.g., department, workplace location, job title, etc.).

  • Audience for Generated Ideas: Choose whether the ideas will be shared exclusively with the challenge participants or sent to a specific group.

  • Challenge Launch: Set the launch date, whether it is immediate or scheduled for later. You can also select an end date.

    • Time-bound challenges help build momentum and encourage more ideas within a shorter period.

    • Don’t forget to schedule automatic reminders, if needed.

Review your challenge and take the leap! 🚀

Inspiration for challenges

Need a little inspiration? Amélio has thought of you. Here are a few suggestions:

  • How can we increase participation in engagement surveys?

  • We'd like to hold a teambuilding activity. What suggestions do you have for a summer activity near Quebec City that would strengthen our ties?

  • How could we improve the customer experience of the online quotation process?

  • How can we reduce the workload on our customer service agents?

  • Our month-end reports generate a lot of stress in the team. How can we speed up or lighten this task?

  • If you could work on a new project with a team other than your own, what would it be and why?

  • If we could hire 5 more people, what would they be working on?

Keep challenges up to date

Be sure to activate or create new challenges frequently, ensuring they are linked to events within your organization.

An important event? New emerging needs? A new customer to reach? A major challenge requiring collective intelligence?

Make it a new challenge! ✨

New challenges are more likely to generate new ideas! This will also help keep employees interested in the module.

You can also deactivate challenges, when they are no longer relevant, for example. Employees can see them all if they use the “Inspire me” function.

Share Conclusion

The challenge is complete, and you've made your decision? Share the outcome with the participants!

Include:

  • The winning idea

  • Explanations, if applicable

  • Next steps, if necessary

  • And select who should receive the challenge conclusion email.

You're all set to tackle your daily challenges and, most importantly, to create an inspiring workplace!
