On the platform, it is possible to display or hide filters on results pages.
The Feature in a Nutshell
Role customization allows you to control who can see and use filters on results pages and reports. 🔒
By enabling or disabling this feature, you can ensure that only authorized users have access to advanced filtering options.
Why Display or Hide Filters?
This permission is useful at multiple levels - Here are some of the advantages offered:
Customization: Allows customizing access to filters according to your organization's needs.
Simplicity: Simplifies the interface for users who do not need to use or access filters for results analysis.
Security: Ensures that only authorized persons can access more sensitive or complex data.
Efficiency: Facilitates targeted analysis for teams that need filters for their daily work.
How to Configure Access to This Permission?
⚠️ Managers have access to this feature by default, but this aforementioned access can be modified according to your needs ⚠️
Here's how you can proceed:
Click on the Admin tab on the left-hand side;
Select Roles;
Click on Edit permissions - next to the role for which you want to apply or remove the results filtering feature;
Search for the permission Display filters in reports under the Engagement section;
Check or uncheck the permission as needed.
If you wish to remove all access to the different attributes in the results, it is advisable to also remove access to the segmented results report.
Permission to Access the Segmented Report
The segmented report of the results allows viewing by comparing different groups. If access to the filters is removed, it can be inferred that access to this report should also be removed.
To do this, you can follow the same instructions as above and simply disable the permission Display segment report.
