Discover poll surveys

Introduction

Amélio’s poll surveys allow you to gather targeted feedback on specific topics without impacting the overall engagement score. They’re ideal for exploring one-time or personalized themes outside the standard engagement framework.

How it works

Unlike engagement surveys, custom surveys do not contribute to engagement factors or sub-factors. This means:

  • No engagement score is calculated from these surveys.

  • You have full creative freedom to design surveys on a wide range of topics, such as event planning, remote work, or important announcements.

Examples of available templates

In the interface, you can quickly choose from ready-to-use templates like:

  • Team feedback culture

  • Year-end retrospective

  • Reactions to an important announcement

  • Holiday activities planning

  • Boosting team morale

  • Optimizing our tasks with artificial intelligence

Each of these templates comes with a predefined set of questions ready to send.

Creating and customizing your survey

  1. Go to the Surveys tab.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Create a survey under the Poll surveys section.

  3. Select a suggested template or choose Create a custom survey.

  4. Write your own questions or adjust an existing template as needed.

  5. All that’s left is to launch your survey!

Did you know that managers have access to poll survey creation? This access can, however, be adjusted at any time through roles and permissions.

Who can view the results?

By default, only the person who created the survey can view its results.

To grant access to someone else, the survey creator must share the results with that person individually.

This approach provides greater control over the information collected, since the results of a Poll Survey are not necessarily intended for everyone who would normally have access to survey results in Amelio.

Share access to survey results

Would you like to share access to the results with administrators or other managers? Simply click on the three dots next to the survey name, then select the option to share survey access.

These surveys are also subject to your account’s confidentiality rules. You must therefore reach the required minimum number of respondents to access the results.

Sharing survey results does not change the permissions assigned to a person's role. The permissions associated with that role remain in effect, including permissions related to viewing comments.

How are the results displayed?

Poll Surveys are not associated with any engagement factors.

As a result, the results are presented in a detailed report that includes:

  • the survey question(s)

  • a breakdown of the responses received

  • participant comments, when permitted by the person's role

This view allows you to review the responses to each survey question directly.

Since the questions in a Poll Survey are not associated with engagement factors, it is not possible to generate an insight report from their results.

The detailed report is the only analysis view available for this type of survey.
