Each question can be assigned to an engagement factor and a specific sub-factor. This link will lead you to the list of the 12 engagement factors and their respective sub-factors.
When should you modify a factor?
You may want to update a factor if:
a question has been assigned to the wrong factor
you want to better organize your questionnaire and results
you would like your reports to reflect a different engagement category
How to modify a factor
Open the survey
Click Edit Survey
Go to the Questionnaire step
Edit the desired question
Select the new engagement factor or sub-factor
Save your changes
How does this affect results?
Unlike changing the wording of a question, changing its engagement factor is retroactive.
This means:
previously collected results will be recalculated
historical survey reports will be updated
future surveys will also use the new factor assignment
This change only affects how results are categorized. Employees' responses are not modified.
