Create a Competency Profile

Learn how to create a competency profile in Amelio to group competencies by role, create consistent expectations, and simplify manager feedback.

Bring the Right Competencies Together

Once you’ve identified the competencies that matter to your organization, competency profiles make them easier to put into action.

A competency profile brings together the competencies expected for a specific role, team, or job family. Instead of selecting competencies individually each time, create a reusable profile that can be assigned to multiple employees.

For example, create a Supervisor profile that includes competencies such as communication, collaboration, and leadership.

Managers can then focus their feedback on the competencies that matter most for the employee’s role and professional development.

Create as many profiles as needed to reflect the different roles within your organization.
