Levels define the different stages used to assess competencies. They provide employees and managers with a shared reference point for understanding where a competency stands based on the scale defined by your organization.
Amelio provides default levels that you can use as is or customize to better reflect your organization's needs and terminology.
Customize Levels
Go to Performance Management, Competencies, and select the Levels tab.
Levels determine the different stages used for competencies. You can configure between three and six levels.
Default levels are already available in Amelio. You can use them as is or adapt them to your approach.
You can:
modify the wording of the levels
customize the colours
modify the icons
view the scores associated with the different levels
Tip: Use simple labels that are easy to distinguish from one another. The goal is to help employees and managers quickly understand what each level represents.
After making a change, remember to click Save.
Watch the Steps in the Video

If your organization uses Amelio in multiple languages, complete the configuration by going to the Translations tab.
Add Translations
Your setup is almost complete!
Complete the configuration by going to the Translations tab.
Add the required translations for the different elements you have configured, including:
competency levels
performance levels
profiles
Tip: Keep translations in mind when creating your competencies and profiles. This makes it easier to use consistent terminology across the different languages used in your organization.
Once this step is complete, your levels and their translations are ready to be used with your competencies and profiles.
Continue the Configuration
