Understanding surveys

This article explains how to understand the different types of surveys available on the Amélio platform.

Punctual surveys

A punctual or on-demand survey allows for measuring employee engagement at a specific point in time. This unique survey consists of a list of questions that all users will receive.

For instance, if the questionnaire includes 52 active questions, all respondents will receive all of these questions in their survey.

An organization can conduct this type of survey to measure a specific issue or to conduct a single 'Engagement Diagnostic' survey. The survey ends when the organization closes it.

Continuous Improvement surveys

A continuous improvement survey allows for better tracking of employee engagement continuously through short surveys sent at a determined frequency.

Your question bank can contain up to 250 active statements, but users will only receive a few questions in each survey to maintain a fast response time. Amélio enables you to send surveys at the following frequencies:

  • Weekly

  • Bi-weekly

  • Monthly

  • Every 6 weeks

  • Bimonthly

  • Quarterly

The survey remains active at all times so that the platform can automatically send surveys at the chosen frequency.

The survey algorithm ensures that all users answer a variety of questions on important topics for the organization.

At each survey occurrence, an employee will, therefore, receive questions on different engagement factors to express their opinions on various themes at all times.

This ensures that employees in the same team receive different questions from each other to offer an overview of the company at each survey occurrence.

For a manager, they will always have access to results on a wide range of questions to better understand the scores obtained for each factor within their team.

Note: A user will not receive a question they have already answered within at least 120 days to preserve question diversity and avoid redundancy.

Customizing surveys

We provide survey templates co-developed with organizational development professionals. These surveys allow you to start instantly, but there will always be specificities to your business that need to be addressed.

This is why surveys are entirely customizable to your company and business reality. For continuous improvement surveys, the question bank can be customized at any time.

You can disable a question that no longer applies to your reality or create new ones to measure new aspects important to employees and the company. Here's where you can learn how to customize a survey questionnaire.
