The importance of acknowledging birthdays
This feature of the platform will automatically remind managers and colleagues of employee birthdays.

The module's way of operating
The platform automatically sends a standard message to invite employees to celebrate their colleagues' birthdays within the team.
This is a reminder to avoid forgetting to highlight important moments in employees' lives.
The birthday announcement only includes the day and month of the birthday. The year of birth is never included in birthday announcements.
More specifically, here is who the emails are sent to and when:
Managers: The immediate supervisor of the employee receives a reminder email 7 days in advance with ideas for activities to plan to celebrate with the team.
The team: The members of the employee's team receive an email on the day of their birthday to invite them to wish their colleague a happy birthday.

Conditions required for the module to work properly
A few conditions are necessary to ensure that your employees receive the birthday announcements.
Make sure that the date of birth is entered for all employees. The announcement emails will not be sent to employees without a date of birth entered.
The module must be active. You will find the instructions to activate it below. No access to the platform is required for this module.
Activate birthday announcements for the entire organization
As an administrator of the Amélio account, you have control over whether or not to activate this module. To activate it, simply follow the few simple steps below:
Make sure you meet the conditions mentioned above.
Go to Account from Administration.
Go to the Modules tab.
Activate the Birthday Announcements module.
Employee individual settings
If the organization wishes to announce colleagues' birthdays, but some employees prefer their date of birth not to be known, they can disable this announcement to their colleagues themselves: Individual birthday settings
ATTENTION: When employees receive a birthday notification via email, the email contains the option to leave a recognition. Therefore, it is highly recommended to activate the recognition module before the birthday module.
