Would you like to ensure that you have properly prepared your survey and that it meets your expectations? Here are some options available to you.

We recommend focusing on the first two options, which are easy and quick to perform, considering that in most cases, they are more than sufficient.

Send a Test Email

This feature allows you to send your initial email or reminder email to an email address of your choice. This lets you verify the following:

  • Display of the email content meets your expectations

  • Receipt of the email in your main inbox

  • Sending a preview of the email to your employees to ensure they consider it safe when officially sent

  • The "Respond to your survey" button will allow you to preview the survey

Have you added [email protected] to your list of authorized senders? This is a crucial step to ensure that the emails are not blocked by spam filters. We recommend informing your employees using a personal email address for the survey to check their junk mail folder.

Preview the Survey

It is possible to preview your entire survey without even launching it. Here are some examples of checks you can perform through the preview:

  • Verify that the survey's appearance and customizable settings meet your needs and modify them if necessary: customize the appearance of your survey / automatic transition to the next question after selecting an answer.

  • Verify that the response options appear in the desired order (note that we have included instructions for certain types of questions to help you create them correctly).

  • Estimate the survey response time, which can vary from person to person. This article can also give you a good idea of the approximate time required: What is the approximate time required to complete a survey?

  • Initial feedback and improvement suggestions: You can even share the preview link with some colleagues to gather their feedback. Amélio's survey templates have been developed in collaboration with organizational psychologists to cover every important element of employee engagement. However, we encourage you to review the questionnaire to ensure it meets your goals and reflects your company culture. By sharing the link with an HR colleague, for example, or even a manager, you could gather valuable feedback on the survey content, topics covered, and potential improvements to tailor it to your reality.

Send the Survey to a Targeted Audience or to a First Test Group

If you want a first group of people to respond to the survey for a complete test before the official launch, you can set everything up by following the various steps in the following article: Survey Settings.

If you are just starting the process and your list has not been imported yet, it will not be necessary to target an audience for the survey, and it will simply be sent to all active employees listed in your account. If needed, you can add additional employees to participate: Adding employees

Note that it will be important to target an audience if you want to send the survey to a specific group and your list of employees has already been imported into your account to prevent all employees from receiving the survey.
